Before the visit
- Clean user-accessible filters according to the manufacturer's instructions.

- Use compatible modes across connected heads; some multi-zone systems cannot heat and cool different rooms simultaneously.

Isolate power only at a dry, safely accessible main disconnect; otherwise call the utility, emergency services or an electrician. If there is smoke or fire, get everyone outside and call 911. Do not open sealed refrigerant components or electrical cabinets.
