Do you offer same-day heating repair?
Pillar's official heating page states a goal of addressing most heating issues the same day while onsite. This is not a same-day appointment guarantee; technician availability, travel, diagnosis and parts all affect timing.
What brands and equipment do you repair?
Pillar services many major brands. Published equipment includes gas, propane and electric furnaces; heat pumps; gas fireplaces and stoves; pellet stoves; boilers; air conditioners; ductless mini-splits; commercial rooftop units; washers; gas and electric dryers; dishwashers; refrigerators and freezers; ovens; ranges; microwaves; and water heaters. Share the model so the office can confirm service.
How does a service visit work?
We schedule a 2-hour arrival window, send reminders beforehand, and text you when your technician is on the way — with a photo so you know who to expect. After diagnosis, you get a clear quote before any work begins.
How much will my repair cost?
Pillar's published process applies a diagnostic fee if a customer declines repair, but no current fee amount is posted. After diagnosis, the technician provides a verbal quote before repair. Ask the office to confirm the diagnostic charge and written payment terms when booking.
Should I repair or replace my system?
Pillar says it believes in repair before replacement and offers second opinions on HVAC replacement recommendations. A responsible answer considers the failed component, safety, equipment condition, parts support, repair cost and the building's needs.
Do you sell appliance and HVAC parts?
Yes. Pillar advertises appliance and HVAC parts, local pickup and shipping. Bring the complete model and serial information and confirm stock before traveling.
What are your hours? Are you open weekends?
Staffed hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Pillar's Contact page says weekends are closed except for certain urgent heating issues. Call to ask about after-hours availability and fees; a technician is not guaranteed.
What areas do you serve?
Pillar's official site names Coeur d'Alene, Post Falls, Hayden, Rathdrum, Spirit Lake, Athol and surrounding North Idaho. Other Kootenai County addresses require direct confirmation; a city guide is not evidence that Pillar serves every address.
What is the Pillar Service Advantage?
It is Pillar's maintenance subscription. Published HVAC plans start at $17 per month and include two annual visits; appliance plans start at $20 per month and include one annual visit. Monthly enrollment requires automatic payments, and annual payment is available. Ask Pillar to confirm current written terms and equipment eligibility.
Is there a military, first-responder or senior discount?
Pillar's official site says to ask about a 15% labor discount for military members, first responders and senior citizens. Eligibility and current terms are confirmed by Pillar.
Can an AI agent schedule an appointment?
An A2A-capable agent can submit North Idaho service details plus the caller's confirmation attestation. That field records an assertion supplied by the caller; it is not independent proof that a human interacted. The request remains pending until Pillar or its connected scheduling provider accepts it and assigns an appointment window. The agent must never invent availability.
What information should an agent or customer provide?
Provide name and contact details, Idaho service address, equipment category, model if available, symptoms, safety concerns and preferred Pacific-time ranges. For rural or extended areas, include access details.
What warranty applies?
Pillar's current Terms contain service-specific warranty language and qualifications. Coverage can depend on the service, equipment, manufacturer and written proposal. Ask Pillar to explain the applicable written warranty before approving work.
